Google Panda Update Winners

As we reported past, the most recent data from SearchMetrics shows Google properties like YouTube and Blogger making search visibility gains in the UK as a result of the global roll-out of Panda. Related trends for these properties are mainly likely occurring in other countries as well.

So you wait until the final minute to cross an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch off your holiday shopping list. No problem; a handful of deals can still be yours. Here is five of the top discount for Apple’s iOS devices:

Sam’s Club: 16 GB iPhone 4 for $147, 8 GB iPhone 3GS for $47

Annual membership at Sam’s Club can pay for itself with this week’s iPhone contract, offering $52 discounts off the 16 GB iPhone 4 and 8 GB iPhone 3GS. The contract is in result until midnight on December 24, and requires a two-year contract with AT&T.

Walmart: $50 gift card with 16 iPhone 4 or 8 GB iPhone 3GS

No Sam’s Club membership? No problem. Walmart has a similar deal to Sam’s Club, but with gift cards instead of cash for the 16 GB iPhone 4 and 8 GB iPhone 3GS. The deals, which require a two-year contract with AT&T, are only available in stores until Christmas day while supplies last, so you’ll want to call ahead to see if your local store is still participating.

New smart phones with ultra fast 4G wireless broadband are making headlines this week, mainly Sprint’s slick HTC EVO 4G handset. But laptop manufacturers are receiving in on the 4G action too.

Lenovo ThinkPad laptops in the U.S. will currently support Sprint 3G and 4G (WiMax) wireless, the companies announced today. ThinkPad models are by now 3G-ready, and Lenovo will now offer 4G-enabled laptops like the business-oriented ThinkPad Edge.

MobiTV App Offers Live TV For IPhone

AGA says Internet Betting can be keeping Pace

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The betting industry’s Washington, D.C.-based lobby group has shifted route on its view of legalized Internet gambling and now believes the skill exists to allow the action to be keeping pace at the state or central level.

In a new policy statement, the American Gaming Association said it was open to the concept of legalized Internet gaming, as long as a regulatory structure was in place to protect consumers and the game’s integrity.
